A Unique VR Experience for Climate Change Education
This project involved creating an immersive VR experience to educate users about the impact of climate change and pest-borne diseases on human health and ecosystems. The VR game was launched at the United Nations' COP28 and sponsored by Reckitt, Arctech Innovation, and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
Problem
The project aimed to address the lack of understanding about the complex relationship between climate change, pests, and human health, and inspire action for positive change.
My Contributions
Using my skills in Product Design, UX Design, UX/UI, Visual design, and Wireframing, I led a team of three to create three immersive VR scenarios. These scenarios were designed to engage users in a near-future world affected by climate change and pest-borne diseases.
Outcomes
The VR experience was successfully launched at COP28 and is set to be used as an educational tool to inspire the next generation to understand and act on the complex issues of pests, health, and climate change.
